Overview
Pulteney Bridge flood defence works for the Environment Agency ahead of council handover. Inspection chamber covers on both sides were rotted out, so we removed and measured the originals, fabricated new aluminium covers in the workshop, painted the handrails and guardrails, and installed everything on site. We also flagged a void under the slab, shuttered it, and pumped grout to stabilise the pad. All works were completed beside fresh water with no environmental spills.

- Installed new handrails and guardrails on both sides and on the mechanical access area.
- Fitted new covers on both bridge sides.

- Protected the riverside environment and kept the public informed during works.
