Stainless Bends & Straights - Irish Power Station

23 bends • 32 straight pieces • Stainless TIG with flanged ends

Stainless bends staged for inspection before shipping to Ireland

Overview

Fabricated a batch of stainless pipework for a power station in Ireland: 23 bends supplied pre-formed and 32 straight flange pieces that I cut and rolled in-house, all ready to bolt up on delivery. I TIG welded every joint, handled flange alignment, and shipped the pipework clean for immediate install.

Scope & Methods

  • Prepped 23 supplied bends and 32 straight lengths in stainless, dressing edges for TIG welding.
  • Cut and rolled the straight sections, then TIG welded flanges to each piece while keeping bolt-hole orientation and face flatness tight.
  • Pressure-checked sample assemblies and recorded measurements for the client.
  • Packed and protected the bends and straights for export, ready to lift straight into place.

Outcomes

  • All 55 pieces delivered on schedule with no post-delivery finishing required.
  • Flange faces, bolt patterns, and welds passed client inspection on receipt.
  • Additional repeat order placed after the first batch landed in Ireland.
